What extra tools do you use?

    What im getting at is tools that are not on the server or client installations by default.

    For example ive just been taught about the
    Group Policy Management tool used to configure GPO's.

    Was wondering what other nice stuff is out there :)

    If you're running Win2k3, and have a MS licencing agreeement, install R2 - there's a few nice tools there (like ability to assign printers to PC based on OU - or you could do a script for that if you want).

    There's also the Windows Server admin pack that you can install on your laptop/PC to do AD related tasks without touching the servers.

    The only extra tools I use are the good old winternals (sysinternals) created by Mark Rusinovic. In 2006 MS bought the firm and now they are MS tools. Great stuf.
