congrats mate!! dont suppose u can remember how many questions you were asked? I am due to take my 272 soon and am unsure as to the amount. I have seen most people report 40.

I understand that you want to know how many questions there are so as to give you some bit of security knowing what to expect... but in the grand scheme of things, does the number of questions really matter? They could ask you 10 or 200, and as long as you understand the concepts, you'll be able to pass... regardless of the number of questions, regardless of the type of questions, regardless of the length of the questions. Understand the concepts completely and you'll be juuuust fine. :)

Congrats mate, that is a good score but i am not sure it's scored out of a max 1000 - in other Microsoft exams i have known people to achieve scores higher than 1000.

Well done mate! I'm aiming for 100% in all my exams. What's the point in doing something if your not trying to be the best doing it?

i had 50 questions, i was expecting 40, but it still wasnt too bad.

15 minutes later and i scored 1000! yeah baby!

I study with the exam cram books, MS press (which are not that great) and just do the transcender practice exams.

the exam cram books are by far better than most i've read, but it really does require you to have some previous knowledge. What i tend to do is read it a couple of times, and then go through the cram sheet and check A) do i understand the concept B) can i put it into practice.

lot of SP2 questions in mine, and a few OE oddballs. Seriously, what is the point in learning how to support OE!?!

Also, asked a fair bit on network connectivity - have a look on VPN's and the security options - it was my weak point, but luckily i only got a couple of q's on it

    Huzzah for me!

I have yet to see a score greater than 1000. My only 1000 came in the old days, with the TCP/IP exam... back in the days you KNEW 1000 was the highest you could get. When Microsoft switched their scoring system around so that all passing scores were 700, there was some question as to whether 1000 was a perfect score (because of the rumors similar to what Bluerinse heard). Since then, I've seen three 1000 scores, but none above 1000.
