    Hi all,

I've just joined CertForums. I've come from finding you guys from SocialJunction. I was an Advent Computer Training student for a while. Luckily I managed to finish my course before they hit the wall back in February.

I am currently working for an MSP in London specialising in supporting SMBs. Daily duties can range from sitting on the helpdesk giving support to end users to client site visits. There is no tiered support hierarchy in the company so my job description is wide ranging :p.

I've been in IT for more than 10 years, but have only in the last three years decided to get certified. I was working for a technology company before that but wanted to concentrate more on IT rather than multimedia (audio/visual). I wanted formal training rather than just go out any buy books and read without getting any real world experience.

Back in 2007 I decided to buy an MCSE training course with Advent Computer Training as they seemed to offer the best mix of classroom training, mentoring and careers advice.

I got a job with my current employer and have slowly been working up through the company for two years (still trying to get of the helpdesk!).

I'm currently working through getting my MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification. I've ust finished the Server Administrator. I hope to complete a CCNA before the year is out.
