Does anyone know of any prebuilt appliances that run a webserver that can run php and possibly mysql but if i cant get mysql then its still fine. I dont really want another server just something that is capable of running a php website. I might be asking for something completely stupid but i dont know.

Oh and it needs to be fairly cheapish!

    Thanks

    What about Apache?

    http://httpd.apache.org/

As for the cheapish deal: LAMP on Ubuntu, that being Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP:

Yep ive seen that before, probably didnt make my first post clear enough, i need a separate box to run another webserver on it needs to be smaller than a desktop if possible and fairly cheap. Although if there were any cheap machines i would be fine with them

Have you thought about looking on Ebay for a little SFF PC? I have had dozens of old Compaq Deskpros over the years doing all sorts of things for me. They're not the most powerful of machines, but they are very small, take enough RAM and a decent processor to be useful and, more to the point, cost sod all - you can probably pick them up for about thirty quid now

Some of thoose Qube 3 boxes look nice. I've seen them going for £50 - £60 on eBay.
