He left us to join god about 2 hrs ago. He fought the cancer to the end. I know I've not been around much lately but I had to say thank you to those here that have been with me though these last 18 months. Thank you for putting up with and helping me though my anger, confusion, and pain. Thank you for just standing beside me with all your love, understanding, patients, and prayers for me, Paul, and my love ones. I truly believe we wouldn't not have had the time we did with him if it wasn't for all the prayers that I know he received the world over. Just thank you all so much. I love you all.

This is awful, I wish I could just stay here where I know I am surrounded by friends. Fay (Paul's wife) has already started. She called the funeral home and said she was the only to do anything for Paul. Yet Paul left his life insurance to his sister Bert to make sure things were done the way he wanted them. She told the director if bertha showed up that she would pull Paul from there and take him back to KY. These are no one wishes but Paul. He wants to lay by his mother. I don't understand why Fay is doing this to bertha. But she is breaking her heart and we don't even have Paul in the ground yet! God give me strength. I gotta go. I have to go help Bert pick out flowers from our side of the family for him.

Well done to you for staying so strong for so long.

Now is time for you to let go in whatever way you need to cope.

Don't shut people out though - they all have different ways of coping, and no way is a wrong way. You also need people to help you cope.

Always remember that you are not alone. For someone like you, there will always be others out here supporting you in what ever way they always have, and always will.
