I'm starting to collect CV's with a view to hiring 3-4 technical people in a 3rd / nth level support capacity.

We are based in South Manchester and if you are interested please PM me and I will reply with contact email address to forward your CV (and cover letter) and full company details. For a bit of background we are an outsourced IT service provider to include hosted/managed services, consultancy, development, etc. Some travel will be required.

The start date for the positions will be early next year although may be sooner for some of the roles.

These are unfortunately NOT entry level positions, you will ideally have a number of years experience within your area of expertise and the areas we are looking for are as follows: (You don't need to have ALL of the following, just as many as possible)

    - Advanced routing and switching knowledge
    - LAN/WAN, VTP, SNMP, HSRP, OSFP, RSTP
    - Firewall experience (Watchguard, Cisco ASA, etc)
    - Familiar with networking tools - Wireshark, Cacti, TFTP
    - VOIP nice

    Linux
    - Deploy and administrate RHEL
    - Oracle VM
    - Sun

    Citrix
    - PS 4.0/4.5/Xenapp
    - CAG
    - Medium/Large deployments
    - Printing!!!!

    General/Nice to haves
    - Customer focused
    - Netapp filer experience including SAN/site replication
    - FC/iSCSI SAN experience (Build, deploy, recover)
    - IBM Server, Bladecenter and kit

Didn't think approval would be required since this sub forum is called "Employment & Jobs", not to mention I am not an agency, not advertising a company in anyway (See a company name anywhere?), no links and only communicating via PM to interested parties.

If anyone has any objections to this post please let me know as it will save me any further time and effort trying to help some of you out.

I think he was just referring to the clearly stated procedure here m8 :

    http://www.certforums.co.uk/forums/announcement.php?f=22&a=9

It's just so we don't get deluged with recruiters and the like flooding the forums with ads.

    No harm done (hopefully) :biggrin

Dude, I think it's a good thing your trying to help people out.

I made a post along time ago saying there was some opportunities at my work place.

The only difference was that I asked people to contact me via PM if they where interested.

Difference is mate, you have been a member for quite a while and are a premium member. The OP only has a few posts and for all the staff know could be a spammer. I think it's obvious that he isn't but there are procedures and isn't it just polite to ask first?

Still nothing more to say here. Looks like a nice position for anyone interested.
