Wireless Application Protocol or Wired Equivalent Privacy

WAP is a like a simplified browser which used on mobile phones n stuff.

WEP is a standard to secure wireless networks

GBL is correct, however, WAP in relation to wireless terms means Wireless Access Point or sometimes referred to Access Point (AP). Basically it is a device that allows communication between Wireless devices to become a Wireless Network.

The principle is same as having a switch/hub to allow hard wired devices to communicate to each other

Sounds good... but beware of those "free net practice tests"... most of them are braindumps.

Looks like you were confusing WPA and WAP. Don't spend to much time just memorizing the answers to question because, invariably, there will always be a question for which you don't have the answer. It really is better to get a good grasp of the material.
