    Great stuff Zimbo!

How did the install go, any issues or was it plain sailing?

once i resolved the issue with my ADSL modem its cool.. done it lots of times with vmware so it was very much the same. learning the vi editor too using various tutorials... and how to navigate the command line..
like trip says there is no place like $Home! 8)

Hmmm, I should really delve into Debian myself soon. A hobo we know thinks it's rather good and I expect he may be right :D

need i say more? lets say you go for a job interview and you say i can offer our customers rock solid servers for nothing and we charge our labour. Trust me im seeing it in action now at work mail servers are being built every day. Im very keen on samba.. getting my users in a company lets say to save all your files on a linux server. no need for CALs no need to use illegal software (thus feel threatened of getting fined) or no need to fork out thousands... linux is hard but once you have the skills what you can do is out of this world!
