Funny you should bring this up right now. I was going to do the same.

I tried it on my new pc, and it turned around and told me that my pc had no multimedia capabilities that supported this running.:x

    Nice score BTW. :thumbleft

I got a 1.0 here, but I'm running Ultimate on an old machine too. Just wanted to see if it would load and run at all.

    Here's my details from my home PC. It's has an Asus P5K, C2D E4500 OC'ed to 3.2Ghz, 4GB DDR2 PC26400 RAM, 500GB SataII Western Digital Drive, GeForce 8800GT 512MB, Vista Ultimate x64.

I'm hoping to double the core's and the ram fairly soon, which will be nice. :)

Personally I don't rate this Vista performance test at all. PCMark does a much better job at rating system performance.

I had my E6600 at 3.2Ghz when I ran my Vista scores, your CPU at the same speed scored 0.1 higher :blink
I have a P5K Premium mobo (not really that different to your P5K), so it must be the fact your running Vista Ultimate x64, I have Vista Ultimate x86. Interesting results. I agree that PCMark is a more accurate tool for benchmarking.

Yeah, similar thing when I compared some graphics scores posted here. My card is significantly faster than a couple of others on this list, yet almost identical score wise.

I should be getting a C2Q Q9450 on Monday, might be interesting to see how my score changes. Stock speed is 2.66 Ghz, but I should be able to overclock it a fair bit as it's a chip with plenty of headroom.

I'll put some PC Mark Vantage and 3D Mark Vantage scores up also when I get it in there.

Many factors go into account... you can't just say that because you have Model XYZ video card that you're gonna get the same WEI. A Radeon X850 XT from XFX is GOING to be different from a Radeon X850 XT from Sapphire. A Radeon X850 XT on an Intel mobo chipset is GOING to be different from a Radeon X850 XT on a VIA chipset.

Additionally, when you talk about the WEI score and benchmarks, you're talking two ENTIRELY different tools for two ENTIRELY different usages. The WEI score is meant to give you a GENERAL overview of your computer's capabilities. We techs want to find out what the pixel fill rate on our video cards are, but most non-techs aren't going to benchmark... they want a simple, summarized score they can reference so they can pick up a game off the shelf and know that it is gonna run on their computer. THAT is the purpose of WEI.

Always use the right tool for the right job. ;)

Be interesting to see how your system improves with the new CPU. What sort of temps are you getting on your E4500 under load? I dropped my E6600 back to 3.0Ghz from 3.2Ghz, had a couple of blue screens. Probably need a bit more core voltage. I had it on 1.25, under full load it was hitting 45 degrees C.
