    Hey Ladies and gents,

I was just wondering, some of you who use vista are you experiencing some websites being blocked or not displaying properly?

For example a site like www.oemexpress.com for some reason takes a very long time to display on my system using vista ultimate and FF. I tried IE7 same problem, reset the settings in IE7 no use. Cleared the DNS cache still no use.

So then I launched a vm of xp pro and tried going to the site and it works perfectly. I looked in the event log on vista and found no issues, FF and IE7 applications don't hang or crash when I try to access that website. I tried even clearing the system page file along with the browser cookies, temp files, history and no luck.

I've been using vista for about 4 months now and this is the only site that I am having issues with. Also I forgot to mention that I can ping the website and get back good response times.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks:biggrin

Edit: I have not changed any configs in my router. I am using the Linksys WRT54G router with DD-WRT firmware.

    Vista Business - IE7

Slow to load, turned off phishing filter and it loaded slightly better.

Oddly enough, right now its working fine. It's been like this, this whole week. I thought it was the website at one point but it worked in XP so I couldn't understand why its not working on my computer. It made me think it's the OS because I heard of vista influencing poor bandwidth activity, so thought I would ask you.

Thanks again guys I appreciate it.
