Hello there.

I am currently running a PC on Windows Vista Ultimate.. and am looking into installing Windows Virtual PC and running XP Pro on the virtual PC..

Just wondering if thats possible, and how easy it is to do so?

I don't run Vista so can't say for sure but I don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

I run Virtual PC on an XP pro machine which has Win2k3 and three other virtual machines all running XP pro without any hassle.

 

I run vmware on VU, no problems here. VPC is ****e IMHO, but it will work I believe.

 

I run Vista Ultimate 64Bit as my OS and MS Virtual PC 2007 without any issues.

My lab consists of 4 x Servers and 2 x Clients.

 

I run Vista Ultimate within VMWare & all is fine.
It was a good idea as it shows my Laptop may not be Vista capable even though a sticker on it says it is!!!!!
