Virtual network for demo's

Right now I would like to set up a virtual network to demonstrate exchange 2007 and windows sharepoint services.

Am I right in assuming that I'll need 1 server 2003 as a DC, 1 member server with exchange 2007, 1 member server with wss setup on it and at least 1 client (XP)??
Major configurations are not needed as I only want to demonstrate a quick overview of exchange and sharepoint services (before we look at lotus notes).

Any advice greatly received as I have another management meeting on the 12th and would like to set this up today and demo it for the CEO tomorrow before this meeting.

I cant say setting up that environment in that sort of timeframe is going to be a brill demo of the product to be honest
have you liased with your local VAR? they should be able to demo this sort of stuff in a lab environment in a 'best case' view rather than cobbleing something together in a day

basically what you said is true
you will need an extra server if you want to demo exchange 2007 edge features
and it will take a fair bit of work if you want to demo all the winning features in Ex and Moss!

I don't really need to give him a full blown demo, just enough to show him that it will do what we need it to, and of course a whole lot more too.

 

be warned mate
setting all this up with no prior experiance is going to give you nothing but headaches :/
