Video thumbnails in XP

    Hi
    Im having a little problem which hopefully somebody can help me with.
    Im using windows xp pro and in my videos folder i use thumbnail view, except it doesnt show a thumbnail picture, just a windows media player icon.
    Im sure it used to display pictures and i have searched every option i can but cant solve this.
    Any ideas?

    Is WMP your default media player?

    Try running regsvr32 shmedia.dll
