right you all remember how I said I was going to build a whole new machine this year? well I have decided instead to just upgrade the 4 most important part of the machine: Mobo, CPU, RAM and graphics. a) it will be tonnes cheaper b) I have everything else I need anyway and c) with the new parts I can then do future upgrades over time...so here's what I am hoping to get:

    AMD 64 x2 4200 CPU
MSI K8N Neo4 Platinum Mobo (or similar)
    at least 2GB PC3200 400 DDR RAM
ATI Radeon X700/X800 with at least 256MB

so there you go...in fact I just been on ebay and saw this baby  if I can get something similar to that I will be happy...and as I said everything else is still the same...and I can upgrade others later on such as my DVD-RW cos I want one of those lightscribe babies!!! :D so what do u think guys? any of your opinions are most welcome...:biggrin

Just so you have an idea on the Mobo...look at this.

    And here is the CPU...
