    Now that is good news.

    Perhaps it'll give me a kick up the arse that I need to really learn Linux, if I know that I have something to work towards then it motivates me! :biggrin

    Actually, I think LPI made this decision to help kick a lot of people in the arse and get them to take their certification exams. :wink:

    it will be interesting to see if ubuntu take the same comercial stance red hat did with their cert... also is it going to be hands on?

    The traditional LPI tests are the typical computer generated database. Mostly multiple choice with a few "write-in" questions. Nothing like the RHCT/RHCE tests...yet.
