I have used Transcender in the past but knowing that Boson Michael and Boson Josh are very competent people and know their stuff inside out then I would use their exams in the future.

It's upto you in the end but I know where I would go.

I used to work for Transcender, and I voluntarily left after SelfTest Software purchased them and outsourced development. Several of us who used to work for the old Transcender now work for Boson... and I absolutely LOVE it here. Josh and I currently manage development efforts for the ExSim products for Boson.

That should be enough to help you make an informed decision... but to be fair, I would suggest that you download demos of both and compare for yourself!

I'd go with what Michael said and download demos of the products you're interested in evaluating, then make your decision based on which one best suits your needs (and your pocket book).

Yes, I'd also suggest demoing both products. Obviously, I'm a little biased, but you should choose the one that best suits your needs. Thanks for the kind words GBL and JonnyMX.

We're currently creating the A+ IT Technician product - BosonJosh is managing that writing team. Not sure when it'll be done... I can ask Josh if he has a good estimate (or he may see this message on his own).

Adrian, we don't have a release date set yet, but I can say we're still a couple of months away from release. We do have a team dedicated to working on the A+ IT Technician product, and we are working furiously to get it released.
