Met a few decent people here over the last few years, but, the last few times i've logged in on here it's been totally different - feels like being at school again (just virtually)...

...plus, judging by the feedback, I don't feel like my contributions are that valid any more - probably a lot more relevant elsewhere (I guess I need to go haunt some of the Linux forums or something )

Can still be found in all my other usual 'haunts'

I know what you mean, I haven't been on here alot latley the place seems to have change a lot. I still look in from time to time but feel the same as you as feel being elsewhere is a bit more worth it.

But I will still look in and think you should too.

The guys are right. I know as much as anyone how this place has changed over time, but fools come and go - good people last out.

Give it a break for a while, let things be, then come back, and as said above, bring your knowledge and experience (and humour) back to those who need and appreciate it.

Works for me (well, apart from the "knowledge and experience" bit!!!!)

Lee - take a break - its worked for me on a couple of occasions. I get the arsehole about once every six months or so, I find that leaving it alone for a week seems to do the trick - I come back feeling a lot more refreshed than in the few weeks leading up to my last paddy!

I understand as I too have not been hear off late as it's somewhat been too quite and almost irrelevant post. But all in all cert forums is still the best in my books considering I frequent other sites.

 

This is what I'd recommend as well.
