Anyone got any tips on memorising the networking chapter?Im doing ok on the rest of the Hardware stuff but when it comes to the review questions on networks Im well below 50%.It just doesnt seem to be sinking in!

What specifically is it about networking that you are struggling with? Networking is a *HUGE* subject.

 

I echo what Si just said. What specifically are you having trouble with?

 

Umm... most of it.Its not so much thats its difficult,it just doesnt seem to sink in to my brain no matter how many times I read over the material.
Every other part of the Hardware is going in ok.

 

Ok then, what is it that is not sinking in?

We need details, the more the better.

 

As Si says, if you could give us a list of the specific issues at hand, we might be able to help. Details, please.

methinks someone needs to get a few pcs and network them....

 

Yup I agree, nothing will sink in just by reading. You have got to look at, smell and feel the stuff.

 

...and if you have not got a few pc's, there is always Virtual PC which is free and VM Ware, which im not sure if its free or not...
