    Hi all

If I was to undertake the CompTIA A+ in say 3-6 months time, would I be doing the 2006 or 2009?

or is this a really stupid question and t's obviously 2009

    And whats the difference

    Cheers

I would think that the 2009 course considering we are now in the year 2010, I believe that the exams are\have changing\changed very recently to reflect the 2009 course content and you will only be able to test on the new content now.

The 2006 & 2009 are currently both available at the moment however the 2006 version is retired in UK as of 31st August. So the 2009 is only available after that date.

Be aware that after December 2010 if you havent passed the A+ by then when you do you will have to re-certify every 3 years. If you pass the A+ before then you are certified for life.
