So I finally put together a test lab, here is what my host computer is:

    Intel Core2Duo 2.16GHz
    3GB Ram
    2 Nics
    80GB HD

And this is what my setup looks like, it is pretty much what Phoneix had shown in his ultimate lab setup only with a few pieces missing.

Just thought I would share, it's a pretty basic setup. If anyone has any questions let me know.

Oops, there is an error in the text. That frontend server should be an Edge Transport Server not a Frontend Server. Sorry about that.

    I had a few posted
I should really start posting more now that I have a Core i7 with 12GB DDR3 (soon to be 24!)

    ;)

but VMware Workstation is flakey in Win7, and I try to keep my labs workstation specific as not everyone has a handful of ESX servers on hand :)

    Check it out http://www.certforums.co.uk/forums/thread3568.html

He has a few on there that I went by, it was actually really easy to get it all setup. If you follow his diagram and create one similar to it but for what you want it makes it even easier. This setup will help me a ton studying for the 70-293 and so on.
