Good news!! I'm having a telephone interview on Thursday for this super job. I was a bit despondent after I missed the last job despite getting to the second interview but there you go.

Helpdesk support, start there and through 'sustained learning and working closely with our support engineers, you will develop your IT knowledge and problem solving skills with the aim to becoming a Junior Support Engineer' which is just up my street. They will expect you to have passed the exams and become a MCP within a year. Sounds just up my street.
