Sorry Guys to be a pain,

What does it mean when a windows 2003 server wont load any services, allow installation of programs or anything? It wont even recognise newly attached USB devices?!!!

PLEASE HELP!!

some more info would be good. Any messages on boot, checked event viewer?

More info would definitely help.

If no services are loaded then basicaly the machine never boots, and is pretty much stuffed. But you may mean something different by 'services'.

The OS loads but cannot get access to the event viewer!

 

What happens when you try?

And does the machine come up in safe mode OK?
