    Hi and welcome to CF!

Where you go next depends on what you want to do with your career.

However - if you want a good foundation set of certs then I'd suggest the CompTIA A+ and Network+ next.

You will be looking at entry level/Trainee IT technician or helpdesk jobs.

The wage wont be good untill you have experience so probably about 14-16k (14k being more realistic)

Yes you could do voluntary work, the money will only come with experience it doesn't matter how many qualifications you get you will still be on low pay untill you get the experience.

I don't know where abouts you're located but it varies, here in Toronto with no experience and just that cert you'd be looking at around $10-13 CAD an hour. And yes volunteer work would be benificial, I started off in a school placement position.

The jobs i have seen for 1st line support is about £8-12 an hour, mind you when i have applied for jobs, most of the company's where more interested in where i had call centre experience rather than actual IT qualifications!!

You should do any certs after the A+, N+ and MCDST because the other certs require experience in a job.

You do not need to do a course you can self study for all your certs by getting the relevant books and practicing the concepts.

Please stop writing in capitals it is known as shouting and isn't very polite.

compTIA is worldwide, read what is on that website you will know what the concepts to study are from that website.

The best books for the A+ are compTIA A+ all in one exam guide 6th edition by Mike Meyers and PC Technician street smarts by James Pyle.
