Study for A+ & Network+ At The Same Time?

Hey, everyone. So, I've signed up for a computer hardware basics class this fall that preps me for the A+ exam. There's also an online class that preps me for Network+ - Do you think it would be wise to study for A+ and Network+ at the same time, or should I just focus on the A+? I'd like to pass them both before the December 31st deadline.

I have little exp troubleshooting computers and no networking exp, if that helps.

PS I'm doing the same, though I started in January.

 

I'd focus on one certification at a time. If you can't get them both in by doing classes, don't do the classes... these certifications can be easily knocked out by self-study methods and a little self-starting motivation.

 

I don't think I quite understand your answer. I'd only have about a month to study for network+, that's not enough time is it? keep in mind that I have zero networking exp. It seems to me that I'd still have to study for both certs simultaneously.

My Computer Hardware Basics class starts on the 26th.

 

Think of it like school, you studied several different subjects spread out through the week. Just don't take too much on and you should be fine. Study hard, and practice hard. Good luck!
