I have the SQL server 2000 administration book sitting on my shelf for a while now. But I am no idea whether or not I should study it, and take the test for it, as I am already a MCP. Is there any criteria I have to take before I do SQL admin?

Also, as a career move, I heard SQL database admin get paid good. However, how is the everyday life of a SQL database admin? Whats it like to live with? And how easy is it for me to study for the course?

    Thank you in advance.

There are loads of threads on this

Just search for "MCDBA" or "SQL Server" in the forums and all the answers to your questions will be in the results.
