I'm thinking of doing either the SSCP or CISSP

I've been working as a "sysadmin" for the last 4 years, but have been responsible for design and implementation of various aspects of security and information governence.

    Has anyone done either course?

I'm trying to get my head around how the certification is structured. There is one exam for either, and are there like "credits" you need to earn to count toward it?

Any explanation would be great... I didnt want to talk to a salesman about it.

    Thanks
    Karl

I'm going for the SSCP, in fact I've got the exam booked for the end of March. I'm using this book and hopefully will be getting something along the lines of this to help :)

You can see my thread here, where I asked a couple of questions and the answers I got. The SSCP is a 3 hours exam, btw, unlike the CISSP which is a 6 hour exam.
