SQL Server 2008 - Help needed

I have started to learn SQL Server 2008. My employer will not give me access to their database and so practising on my own 2 PCs. Cannot change job due to financial reasons. Purchased MeasureUp 70-432 Practice Test. Willing to volunteer on weekends in Calgary to gain experience . Anybody out there have any ideas or information ?
