    How do I pasword protect a spreadsheet, so you have to enter a password before you can open it :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

    Im not quite sure if you mean a single worksheet of the entire workbook. To save the workbook, open the Save As dialouge box and click on the tools menu and choose general options.

    Hi Becky - glad to see that you have also joined.

    In reply to Beenz75 instructions I believe that you are wanting to put a password on the entire workbook so need to choose the File > Save As > Tools > General Options and then enter the password you wish to set in the Password to Open section and then another dialogue box will appear - in here you need to confirm the password. If you don't want people to modify the spreadsheet then you can set a password for this also in the same place.
