    Very WOW!

I have been thoroughly in love with astronomy and space for more years than I can remember, and I think if I wasn't in IT, I'd use the other part of my degree and work in something involved with space/travel.

That is scary isn't it? Some of those pics look like they been taking in a studio they are too perfect. I like to have that camera. And I have no idea why a canada banner is on a US shuttle. I wonder if Q will know. Thanks for sharing AJ those are some great pics that we don't even get to see.

That's not a cracked windscreen; that's a reflection off the glass.

If I remember correctly - there was a Canadian made robot handling system delivered in the last launching.

(A quick google shows the name 'Dextre')

My first glance take was 'ooo crack' but after viewing some of the others its just the angled reflection, those windows are covered in filters and stuff so its not surprising certain things look odd

the pictures themselves look great, not fake at all if you have viewed enough space shuttle pics :)
The Canada banner is on the robotic arm part of the Canadarm2 module (Mobile Servicing System) which was added in 2001 during STS-100

    Great pictures AJ. Thanks.

Mitzs, I take it the pictures are so clear because there is nothing in the way of the camera and subject (like air, dust, pollen etc). Of course the space program can also afford a much better camera than you or I.

Wow - the pics do look great.

As for the 'Canada' label, it's been on the Canadarm since early 1980.
...and quite frankly we like the free publicity of having our name splash all over the place.
