But as some of you may have known I was away to Nigeria for two weeks between 19th June and 4th July.

Well towards the last two days of this so-called "holiday", I got very ill. So ill that 4 days after being back in the UK I was admitted to hospital. No idea what exactly was wrong with me and even the doctors were just as baffled. But the main symptoms were high temperature, the shakes, muscle pains and headaches.

Anyway to cut a long story short, I was in hospital for 5 days and I will be back in Newcastle later this afternoon and back to work on Wednesday when I should have been back last monday.

So how is everyone?

I had similar symptoms when I traveled to Asia. Eventually was diagnosed as dehydration and was hospitalized for 24-hrs.
