    Hi,

anyone know why the MS Press Book for 680 mentions support for software RAID-5 within Windows 7?

It's (presumably...) common knowledge that the option is there (but permanently greyed-out) due to the fact that it ISN'T supported within the client OS but because Win7 shares some 'internals' with Server 2008 in which it IS supported.

I know the book has *pages* of errata but this was not mentioned as "To be removed..." at all.

    Strange....... :dry

I read somewhere that it was there/planned to be on there until very late in beta. The options being greyed out could suggest that it may yet be supported further down the line in one of the service packs?

Well, as long as it's not supported within Win7 it won't be in the exam & that's the main thing.

Pity that the MS Press book is incorrect - again......
