I'm looking for a software packaing course or book or guide to using Altiris's wise package studio
And the deployment server.

I'm even interested in packaging with MSI, but i cant find any good books or anything anywere i finished the internet looking, all training providers are out of date and no longer exist.

It used to be covered in the MCSD syllabus.
I guess it'll still be in MCPD somewhere...

 

Packaging and deployment in general are covered in the MCPD, no third party products are covered.

Are you packaging or re-packaging ? If packaging maybe a generic book on the windows installer.

Otherwise maybe try Google or the Wise forums...

repackaging i guess when you have the msi and run a scripted installation (.bat or .vbs )file to run the application.
