Win or lose, I can wholeheartedly recommend the "Sybex CompTIA A+ Complete Study Guide - Deluxe Edition". The book itself is comprehensive and easy to read and the test exams on CD are great, the best I've seen. This and good old wiki have been my main tools of the trade, now let's see if they've done their job!
