The Beast is dead
I would of settled for 700 when I clicked end exam but I got 763. I am chuffed to bits. Especially as i failed this exam about a year ago. I think failing one (that was the first) makes you realise just how difficult some of these exams are.
The other thing I was please with was that I scored 100% (well a full band on the sectional results area) for the IP Addressing section. Subnetting was something I didnt really understand when i did my Network+ 2 years ago but now I think I know inside out upside down and backwards!

Well that should be my MCSA now with A+ and N+ electives but I guess I will wait till my transcript updates (up to 7 days apparently) before making it official!

I have an interview for a Post in our Systems Engineering Team at work next week, so passing this now is just the ticket (well hopefully!)

A full band should mean you answered 100% of those questions correctly... which could contribute a little or a lot to your overall score, depending on how few or how many of those questions you got.

I've gotten a full band, but on the bottom of the line it still says: `Needs Development` so I thought it didnt mean you scored 100%

"Needs Development" is under the left end of the bar. You'll likely see the word "Strong" under the right end of the bar. That means if your bar isn't filled much (or at all), your knowledge of that topic needs development. If your bar is filled, your knowledge of that topic is strong

 

Got my MCSA confirmation e-mail from MS today so I guess I can now update my profile on here.

Well heres what I can tell you:
1. Make sure you know IPSEC requirements really well. Client and server default policy and monitoring tools
2. Have a read of the WSUS deployment guide. (v3.0 now)
3. See my post on subnetting (works for me)
4. As you should know already make sure you know DNS and DHCP inside out.

If you can afford it get the transcender questions they worked for me (see the post in training area)
I would not want to break the Non Disclosure agreement to tell you anything else sorry.

Of course, lol... I feel dumb now... always wondered why i got a complete black line on some objectives and still said under it, needs improvement. One of those things that you miss, and when someone shows you, you feel dumb for not seeing it from the beggining....
