    Hi Guys

Does anyone have a list of the [components] that can be disabled in the .sif file for RIS installations ?

I have my normal .sif file that i have modified but havent tried doing a stripped down install yet

ie. remove games, msn, messenger, outlook express and other programs that arent needed for just using as a basic terminal

    cheers

Partly correct you can do this through group policy but then the machine has to process group policy to stop the stuff running that you could just disable at the point of install

ie I only want to use the terminals to access a telnet session on unix so therefore dont need all the bells and whistles on XP and therefore i can reuse old pc's that would otherwise be too slow and get trashed
