I've bought some space from a server and a domain.

I'm making a small website for a friend of mine.

The website contains pictures and info about a house in spain you can rent for the holiday. ( If you want reductions on the house contact me ;p )
Anyway
my friend wants to have a kalender on the site.
The kalender should be linked with confirmed reservations.
So that people can look at the free dates and don't have to mail everytime.

How can I create such a system that's pretty much own managing? (the server is php etc enabled )

I can't really help you out much as i haven't done anything like that. But, you might wanna look at a CMS (content management system) again, i don't know much about them. But i reckon you can design the site and load it into a CMS and then pass it over to your friend who can Manage the dates ect....?

I will have a look around and see what i can find! I might even learn something new myself????

 

I don't know how to achieve what you are asking but i do know that if you create a web site, it's 'important' to spell things properly.
