    Pass mark 615, I got 585...gutted. :(

I got 95% in the practice exam that came with exam2cram book.

Its an expensive exam to fail.

So close, how was the wording? I know that on the A+, Network+ & Security+ the wording was terrible.

Anyway, good luck on you next taking of it :)

well I found definite areas i have to go over again and brush up on, but a lot of the questions I found quite ambiguos, especially questions which required a few answers or "the best" answer out a list of 4 plausible answers.

Sorry about the result. At least you'll know the standard of question you're likely to encounter next time.

I know exactly what you mean about the cost. I was for taking the Sec+, but it's just too prohibitive. Add chance of failure based on pass mark, and I decided to leave it for a while and get some MS certs under my belt.

Well ill just keep at is for another week or so going over my weak spots and then try again...at least my employer will pay for the exam when i eventually pass, which is something :) I need this one too as we work with HP Proliant servers and its a prerequisite for the HP APS Cert.

Welcome to the world of CompTIA. :( Unfortunately, that's how all of their exams are. That's what happens when supposed "subject matter experts" (SMEs), who are just really just people who have passed the old version of the exam, are asked to write questions when they are untrained to do so. Regrettably, CompTIA is unlikely to change that policy.

It's certainly worthwhile to pursue CompTIA exams - I recommend people take them. It's just sad that you have to deal with ambiguous questions with several correct answers, no correct answers, or not enough information.
