Hi all,

I am looking to learn about what servers in general. Different types of servers and their purposes, what servers you need for all networks and what can be added etc.

Does anyone know any books or material where I could learn this?

Yes, there are the Comptia Server+ and the Windows MTA Server Fundamentals examinations, and the training books to go with them.

However, depending where you are starting from, you may want to do the Comptia A+ and N+ first.
