    Hi guys,

Just wondering if it is possible to signup for the Second Shot offer without an MCPID as it will be my first MS exam?

    TIA.

So let me get this right...

I have not taken any exams, so am not yet registered with Prometric, and don't have my ID code - I just registered with Second Chance, to get the voucher code, I then registered with prometric, and where it asks me to put in a voucher/discount, I put in this voucher code that I was emailed for the Second chance thing...

And thats all I need to do for the free retake? Sorry for the questions but, as far as I knew, you always got the free resit anyway, so when I found out this morning I had to register for this and that, I was a bit surprised! And I just want to make sure that I dont do it wrong, so I mess up a chance of a free resit, which hopefully I wont need!!

    Thanks guys :D

Mikeyboy, that sounds about right to me. I decided to register Second Shot with MS using the same email address I had registered with Prometric just in case.

Can't recall MS offering a free retake without sort of registration first. They have offered the Second Shot promo in the past.

Oh and I wasn't using IE on MS's site when I was first signing up and didn't see the redstars.

    Cheers guys.

Make sure you don't forget to add the Voucher Number when filling up the payment form on the Prometric website :D
