Considering the stupid amount of money paid for this exam, I'm rather worried about it as I've never taken any CompTIA exams before.. touch wood I'll pass!

Only just though, 795.

Still, really really didn't think I had passed. The questions can be so vague! I have to say I prefer MS questions.

Just the 299 to go and I'll be happy!

Had to feel sorry for the guy who was sitting next to me. He got his results and looked\sounded like he was having a panic attack until he ran out of the room

I hate the way they do questions.

Select the best response, then you look at the possible answers and it could be all of them. I think it's best to choose the one you would do first.

Boyce: I used CBT Nuggets, went through it twiceish with more emphasis on stuff which I didn't already know.. I had bout 3/4 or so years of experience with security in my youth so knew a majority of stuff firsthand
edit: I also used some training material given to me by an IT director from a while ago (it was the earlier version of Sec+ but still useful information in there). I think it was from firebrand training, so more flashcards and definitions and what not.

In response to Jim's comment, as GBL said, it was the case (for me anyway) that it could have been two answers, and the questions didn't seem to ask it detailed enough to warrant a choice over the other which is why I prefer MS questions. Like GBL said though, I stuck with instinct and didn't go back/alter any.

Trogdor: haha I don't know, he was doing the 680 (Windows 7) exam, so maybe he was under some form of pressure from work? don't know. Felt sorry eitherway (haha, only because I thought that it'd be me 30 minutes later)

There was quite a fit girl doin an exam aswell who'd just come in as I left. I'd looked at the sign in sheet earlier and she must've been doin either 299, 293, 294 or 642 (is that the EA one?). Pretty hawt!
