    wanted to turn screensaver on and off at click of mouse in vista


    i found the correct reg keys and exported to desktop

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop > ScreenSaveActive

    is the key that defines if your screen saver will come on or not after a set period of time.

    alot of the time i want my screen saver to activate to lock my computer, but sometimes i want to sit back and still see the screen waiting for things to happen, and i just got fed up of keep going through the menus

    for yourself to hide stuff from the boss i would just used the quick launch show desktop icon
