Does anyone have one set up that can get all the football channels, like you can get in the pub?

Think its about time I got one set up

    Cheers

Do you mean sky? I Have seen some in shops you can fit yourself to watch bits but think the pubs have huge great big dishes and special subscriptions

No but I have had friends in the past who had automated dishes in the back yard that tracked to pick up different content.

Not something I need personally, the only thing we really use our TV for (VM side of things, not Plex) is kids programs anyway (oh, and Gardeners World and Strictly for the wife).

Ha ha I've heard of cable "boxes" years ago when it was first out but didn't think you could get satellite "boxes". Wouldn't have a clue how that works :S

Well I have messed about with Kodi, which can be good for films, but for football, its very laggy and buffers like mad, I have a 75mb connection so its nothing to do with that.

I would like a dish set up, but not sky, where I pay around £10 a month just for the footie, as long as I get the matches I'm not bothered. I will invest in a motorised dish, the initial outlay would be worth it in the end. And maybe I could share with a few people, then charge them ha ha.

I found this place some time ago whilst looking for the same thing. Never got around to doing it, but I think you can actually do it completely legally and get all of the matches as far as I remember.
