So I know that SATA transfer rates are as below, from memory... but can someone confirm that SATA has always been hot pluggable from SATA 1.0 through to the latest SATA 3.0 standard?

    SATA 1.0 = 1.5gb/s
    SATA 2.0 = 3.0gb/s
    SATA 3.0 = 6.0gb/s

The support for hot swap is independent of the support for a 150MB/sec or 300MB/sec transfer rate.

As far as the A+ is concerned, SATA is hotswappable 8)
