    Associate in Networking and Database, Tech support Engineer and looking to get MCSE.
    Am looking for IT trends and get deep in something that will boom soon. Doing Cloud computing now.

    Those who have to search for the "latest trend" usually end up missing the boat. Those who do "catch the wave" often find out that it's not for them and end up being miserable - even more so when the trend passes.

    I'd recommend doing things you enjoy doing, whether it's the "next hot thing" or not. If it's something you're passionate about, you're more likely to do well at it. And if any trends come up in a field you really enjoy, you're more likely to spot them.

    I like it but remember in IT, I can lose it overnight. Just to avoid become crazy once out of the game.

    You can mitigate "losing it overnight" by being on top of several trends, not just one. ;)

    I agree 100%. I've seen engineers specialize in one thing and when they got sick and miserable of it, they had no choice but to learn something new and start at lower positions...
