    Hi,

I've had this problem for the last couple of days and can't seem to correct it.

When ever I plug in a external device I get an error message saying that rundll32.exe doesn't have a program associated with it. I gone into associations but can't find it listed?

    Any ideas??

    Read this http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/process/rundll32.exe.html

    You need a virus killer.

This one will do the job if you havent got one AntiVir.Last-version.com

Be aware that site is not stating that rundll32.exe is a virus, just that it can be infected - as any other file can.

I'd try to repair Windows in the first instance.
