Is there any way to restrict a program to access a specific network card?

The reason is that I have a pc with 2 concurrently shared programs on it and it also has 2 network cards. The way I'm setting it up at the moment (manually) is access the program from the users pc and then configure the application shortcut to point to a specific IP address. I then configure the second application shortcut to access the program from the second IP address.

Is there any way to configure the application itself to use it's own specified network card so I don't have to do this manually?

I think that would depend on whether the application has the ability to bind to a specific network card.

maybe if the software lets you select the I.P or MAC address of the NIC you want to use.

On both counts it's a no.

I saw today that I can install the application by navigating to the respective IP address instead of through network places and the share names.
