Can Remote Assistance and Remote desktop be used only on XP Pro or can they be used on XP home as well?

They can be used on XP Pro and Home.

However, if you are studying for the MCDST, I would strongly recommend using XP Pro as features such as NTFS Permissions are not available on XP Home.

    Hope this helps!
