After my PC crashed overnight, I used autosave to recover what I thought was the latest version of a document in Word 2003. Unfortunately, I now think I would have been better off recovering the other version I was offered when I booted Word (I looked at the Time Stamp rather than the Date stamp).

Does anybody know of a way I can recover it, or is it now gone forever?

    Thanks..

    Alex.

    Hi Motorleague,
If you open Word and click Tools --> Options -->File locations and find the filepath listed for Auto Recover and browse to that location and see if there are any Autorecover files stored.
