Recommended Reading List for A+

    :) Hi Guys:

    can anyone recommend the best books / texts for the A+ from the following:
    I want a book that will be useful after I pass the exam, just not to get me thru the exam, i.e, for future reference!

    A+ for Students Essentials Hodder Education 2006 Objectives

    Meyer's is the daddy when it comes to A+ and you can't go wrong with that one.

    The Technician Street Smarts is also supposed to be very good.

    compTIA A+ all in one exam guide 6th edition is the master of all Mike Meyers books and PC Technician Streets Smarts rules aswell.

    You can't go wrong with those two.

    I'll add my vote for the already recommended Meyer's book, as well as James Pyles Technician Street Smarts book.

    i agree, i've just finished reading the sixth ed, its amazing. those 2 books rock.

    Cheers for the feedback guys. I'll get the meyers book off amazon and if its not enough, I'll supplment my notes with the street smart book.

    I used ExamCram2 A+ & the A+ book of Questions to pass A+ 1st time.
    But that said the other books mentioned are good.
    Just i was very poor at the time & the ExamCram2 books were cheaper!!:oops:
