RDP slow on Vista

Has anyone everyone come accross a problem where RDP runs slowly when connecting into a server 2003 terminal server using vista on the client machine?

All settings appear to be correct on the server and both the users connection and office connection speeds can easily handle RDP (2mbit +)

From what we can tell, there is no other network traffic affecting this

I did a quick Google of RDP slow on Vista.

This link and a few other entries appear to state that turning off the Receive Windows Auto-Tuning feature in Vista should solve the RDP issue.

 

Which windows edition(Home Premium, Home Basic, Ultimate, Enterprise or Business) are you running on the client machine??

Great news... so how was it sorted?

 

I actually have a number of offshore developers RDPing into XP and Vista VM's and client machines, and they love Vista because of the speed....believe it or not.
